You're invited to a three-part personal and professional development series, hosted by Psystrong and Bishop Ranch. These distinct, two-hour training sessions offer evidence-based, interactive opportunities to develop peak performance, high-skill communication, and sustained well-being at work.

Please join Dr. Robin Yeganeh, Psystrong® founder and University of California Berkeley Psychology Professor, for this exciting series to be held at the Bishop Ranch Roundhouse Conference Center. Sessions will focus on Psychological Core Strength®, peak performance, communication excellence, and cultivating contentment at work. This work is grounded in cognitive behavioral science, and the sessions are designed for organization leaders, teams, and individual high performers. Participants will learn to enhance personal and professional effectiveness, foster workplace well-being, and cultivate sustained professional performance. Session 1

Inner Calm, Outer Performance: Building Psychological Core Strength®
Date: September 16th, 10am-12noon

Three Key Learning Points for Participants:

  • Define Psychological Core Strength® (PCS): This training will help you understand PCS and how gains in PCS impact performance and well-being.

  • Core Beliefs & Fears: You will learn to identify core beliefs, core fears (such as fear of failure or rejection), and intentional thinking, which are crucial for personal development.

  • Peak Performance: Discover methods for applying PCS through vision and model selection, physiological regulation, managing relationships with thoughts and emotions, and building on what you have already accomplished.


Session 2

Communication Excellence: Developing Elite Teams & Organizations
Date: October 7th, 10am-12noon
Location: Roundhouse Conference at 2600 Camino Ramon (Lakeside)

Three Key Learning Points for Participants:

  • Increase Effective Communication: The session will help you understand what constitutes effective communication and where communication often goes wrong.

  • Learn the Impact of Active Listening: You will learn the building blocks of communication excellence and gain practical skills in giving feedback that is specific, timely, balanced, actionable, respectful, and empathetic.

  • Practice Essential Feedback Skills: You will have a chance to practice giving feedback assertively while making sure your colleagues feel heard and understood.


Session 3

Thriving at Work: Cultivating Contentment & Growth
Date: October 28th, 10am-12noon
Location: Roundhouse Conference at 2600 Camino Ramon (Lakeside)

Three Key Learning Points for Participants:

  • Explore Values Based Contentment: This training will help you understand the distinction between contentment and happiness, learn about Dr. Yeganeh’s Motivation Paradox, and dodge common traps that cause you to feel discontent.

  • Create a Contentment Action Plan: Increase awareness of distortions, pivot away from thought control, reduce unhelpful self-evaluation, and increase values-based contentment at work.

  • Brain Training: Begin your first step toward mastery of one of the 5 core mechanisms from Dr. Yeganeh’s book in development.
